How booking works, from your first message.

Short answer

Inquiry is not a booking. You message the studio with what you are looking for and where you are; we reply privately, confirm fit, timing and setting, and for anyone outside Ubud we make an introduction to a practitioner in the referral network and then step aside.

What happens after you message

We read it and reply privately — usually within hours, and always within one working day. If you are in or near Ubud, we confirm fit, timing and setting with you directly.

If you are elsewhere, we start the matching process in the referral network: we confirm a practitioner whose training and boundaries we have checked, make the introduction, and step aside. From that point, your conversation, your agreement and your payment are between you and the practitioner — the studio does not manage sessions, bookings or payments for referred practitioners.

What to write

Tell us three things: what you are hoping for, where you are (city and country), and roughly when. If you already know whether you want a private session, a couples session, or a specific modality such as lingam or yoni healing, say so.

If you do not know which you want, say that instead — not knowing which practice you want is a normal way to begin, and it is one of the things the first conversation is for.

What we ask you, and what we never ask

We ask for your name, a way to reach you, and what you are looking for. That is the whole list. We do not ask for passports or ID, medical records, payment card details, photographs of you, or anything about a partner who is not writing to us. Our privacy policy describes exactly what we hold and how long we hold it.

Pricing is agreed before anything is booked

Rates vary by practitioner and city — see the price guide for the published ranges. The practitioners introduced through Tantra Studio are independent: each sets their own rate, so quoting one as if it were the studio's would be inaccurate. What a session costs also depends on the modality, the length, the setting, whether travel is involved, and the practitioner's own training.

Pricing is discussed with you before anything is agreed, and nothing is charged before it has been agreed in the conversation.

Three things that should make you pause, with us or with anyone else: a fixed published price attached to an unnamed "tantra massage" delivered by an unnamed person; a request for payment before a boundary conversation has happened; and a practitioner who will not state plainly what a session includes and what it does not. Those are not pricing differences. They are different businesses.

If we are not the right fit

We will say so, and we would rather say it early. If what you are looking for is a spa service or a sexual service, this is not that, and the studio will tell you plainly rather than take the booking. If the fit is right but the timing or the location is not, the referral network exists for exactly that case.

What happens after the session

Every session ends with re-grounding, and most people want to know what to do in the days that follow. That is what the integration guide is for, and if something did not feel right, the studio wants to hear it — the standards page explains how that is handled.
